Bat Nights

Duh nuh nuh nuh...

I've always loved Batman and wanted to show off my love besides one day a year for Halloween. So, I finally gave in to my inner geek and bought this Batman bodysuit from Forever 21. It's not overpowering like the superhero styles we sometimes see, and instead of a full costume get-up, it's fun to just have one single piece that displays your love for your favorite superhero. It's fun to mix this patterned playsuit with shorts, a black skirt, or with jeans. It can be joined with a cardigan for an extra-hipster feel on cooler days and summer nights. Playful, fun and a little grungy - in the best way.

Summer Outings

Here is one of my fav dresses -  a lace-embroidered light teal dress with the most darling of buttons. It's comfortable, stretchy up top, yet fitted at the waist for a cute form. (Please disregard the poor lighting and quality of the photo!)

Perfect for summer, here is the dress again on my sweet red and white cruiser and I am so stinkin' excited for some summer rides! I won't let anything stop me from wearing my favorite summer dresses and outfits just because I'm on a bike. These ladies show you how it's done -  colour me classic's blog!

Neutral Time

 Peachy  Keen  Neutrals

This peach-colored tank pairs well with this detachable pearl and lace collar my mom gave me! The fun shorts were thrifted from Plato's Closet, but are Charlotte Russe brand and super adorable and retro looking. You really can't go wrong with the simplicity of summer neutrals.

Note - I am literally a poser since this is not my bike :)  [thank you, Erik!]

I'm so glad high-waisted shorts and skirts came back after a while of 90's baggy shorts/pants/skirts that were not as flattering! I mean, there was something commonly high-waisted, but let's be real, they were in a category of their own...aka mom jeans! These are scarily coming back too, no joke. For example, H & M and Urban Outfitters have Mom Jeans for sale! It's okay though, they are modified for modern times. ;) Happy summer again, all!

Into the Stars [again]

Out  of  this  World  Galaxy  Dress

Seeing stars in semi-sheer and lipstick

I know i've already raved about galaxy print and even showed a photo of this dress, but I had to put it on and actually wear this gem! It's so playful and fun, with funky features like a faux side blouson pocket with asymmetrical ties and a great balance of chiffon and polyester fabrics. It is truly one of a kind, and as far as I know, there is no brand or fabric labels, making it a mystery piece and even more amazing.
